So You Wanna Be A Gangster

I just know that if Eminem saw me in my gangster Nikes he’d say, “Tarryn, you and I, we’re meant to be together…” I wear them often hoping to catch his eye. Then I’d be a dirty word in one of his rap songs and I could die a happy, happy woman. Am I alone in this dream? I didn’t think so. Marshal can you hear me?!

I am versatile in style. Honestly some days I wake up and feel gangster, some days I want to feel feminine and I slip on a dress. I think it’s okay to be all the things. You know why? Because women are moody as fuck, and also versatile. We figuratively wear many hats, and it’s okay to have many literal hats to reflect that. So for your gangster days I give you my outfit. It’s sort of hipster gangster if you know what I mean. Roll with me here.

P.S. The blazer listed is gold, but there’s a black option. I’m wearing a small.

Champagne Brain

Ever since my friend Rebecca Donovan came to visit I’ve been hooked on champagne. Seriously though she takes champagne with her wherever she travels, and also loads and loads of jewelry. She’s like Mary Poppins when she starts taking things out of her bag; except everything is shiny and filled with bubbles. Scarlet and I were mesmerized. I bought this long blazer because it reminds me of Rebecca and our drunk champagne nights. I’m not even sure I like champagne, but I drink it now because she left so many bottles in my fridge. Anyway, I included a couple of different boot styles in the post. The pair that I’m wearing are mostly sold out, so in case you can’t find your size check out the other styles. There’s one pair on a GREAT sale.

Ballard Baller

Hey guys! I’ve been busy ya’ll. Spent this past weekend in Ballard with my fiancee. We like to go explore and eat on the weekends. Truth is we’ve been looking for an area where we want to move. That includes stalking the restaurants, parks, trails, shopping, and neighborhoods. I LOVE Ballard. It’s a trendy little area in Seattle. If you’re every visiting it’s worth a drive to go to their little downtown area. Hope your January wasn’t too depressing. I have a crazy couple months of travel and work ahead of me. Oh, and a wedding. But, if you think I’m going to make typical wedding advice blogs on organization and budget ideas, you’re wrong. I have no idea what I’m doing and I may have a nervous breakdown.

My tuxedo jacket is from Aritzia. You can find it HERE or I listed a similar one below. And my purse is Jimmy Choo. It’s an oldie so you can’t really find it anymore.

The Cape Blazer

I feel as if this is the mullet of blazers; business in the front, party in the back. Costume party. But, hey! I liked wearing it. I’m a blazer fanatic anyway, so this addition was perfect. It’s also forty percent off right now, and I’m jealous about that. So, go check it out!

Flats & Blazers

Ripped jeans, ripped jeans. ripped jeans. Shit up with your ripped jeans, Tarryn. Mmkay. I tried to look a little bit professional since some of you asked for outfits you can wear to work? My suggestion is always flats with print and lightweight blazers. And adding a statement piece necklace can change the whole look of an outfit. I don’t wear them because they look too happy. Lucky for you my blazer is on SALE for under $27.00! And so are my Michael Kors leopard flats. I included some other leopard flat options. Just so you know the Crocs are SO comfortable. Yes, Crocs! Happy Shopping. When in doubt, be edgy.
