HOLLA!!!

Okay, I’ve been eyeing the shredded mom jeans for a long time. But I am a mom, so can I wear mom jeans? Do mom jeans make moms even mommier? The answer is….

I don’t know.

They’re very high waisted, so that’s a plus. They contain mom stomach, eliminating the muffin top. I felt sexy wearing them.

So I have travelled all over Europe and found that the most fashionable women reside in Italy. Last time I was there I noticed that women were wearing sneakers with everything. Everything. I was in awe. How do you make sneakers look glamorous? They do. So I came back and started buying sneakers, which is unusual for me. I’ve always associated sneakers with fashion laziness or athletics. Now, while I won’t confess to how many pairs of shoes I own I will say that I spent a year collecting sneakers. And out of all the sneakers gathering dust in my closet these Adidas are by far my favorite. They are comfortable AF, and they slip on easily. They also look good with everything from dresses, to shorts, to jeans. If you want a bomb ass pair of sneakers buy the Adidas. So worth it. I throw mine in the washing machine when they get dirty and they come out looking brand new.

So You Wanna Be A Gangster

I just know that if Eminem saw me in my gangster Nikes he’d say, “Tarryn, you and I, we’re meant to be together…” I wear them often hoping to catch his eye. Then I’d be a dirty word in one of his rap songs and I could die a happy, happy woman. Am I alone in this dream? I didn’t think so. Marshal can you hear me?!

I am versatile in style. Honestly some days I wake up and feel gangster, some days I want to feel feminine and I slip on a dress. I think it’s okay to be all the things. You know why? Because women are moody as fuck, and also versatile. We figuratively wear many hats, and it’s okay to have many literal hats to reflect that. So for your gangster days I give you my outfit. It’s sort of hipster gangster if you know what I mean. Roll with me here.

I wasn’t even going to take the camera with on the day I wore this outfit, but Josh said I looked Guise of the Villain. So here is a villainous outfit. I guess. Why did I call this post Black Bat? It’s Scarlet’s favorite Jack White song and she made us play it all day. Tip, if you have a lot of hair try wearing men’s fedoras. They’re the only hats that work for me because I can’t stuff my hair into women’s hats. They always look awkward and half way through the day they look ready to pop off.
