Ballard Baller

Hey guys! I’ve been busy ya’ll. Spent this past weekend in Ballard with my fiancee. We like to go explore and eat on the weekends. Truth is we’ve been looking for an area where we want to move. That includes stalking the restaurants, parks, trails, shopping, and neighborhoods. I LOVE Ballard. It’s a trendy little area in Seattle. If you’re every visiting it’s worth a drive to go to their little downtown area. Hope your January wasn’t too depressing. I have a crazy couple months of travel and work ahead of me. Oh, and a wedding. But, if you think I’m going to make typical wedding advice blogs on organization and budget ideas, you’re wrong. I have no idea what I’m doing and I may have a nervous breakdown.

My tuxedo jacket is from Aritzia. You can find it HERE or I listed a similar one below. And my purse is Jimmy Choo. It’s an oldie so you can’t really find it anymore.

Sweater Weather

Hey you!

I’m sweater shopping. My favorites for this season are all things green, and stars! I made a list of some of the sweaters I just purchased since I’m not sure if they’ll sell out before I get them and take my own photos. These are all under $80! Most of them are around the $30.00 range. Happy sweater weather, my people. Don’t forget to scroll right to see them all!

Not Dora’s Backpack

So, I have a terrible back. And by terrible I mean that sometimes the condition of my back gets so bad my hands stop working. They just seize up and I can’t drive, or write, or pick things up. Claw hands, for real. Thankfully, it’s been about four month since it was bad enough to affect my hands. Since I am an author (and blogger) the nature of my work is to always be lugging a computer around with me.  I favor messenger bags, I like they way they look, and I like to wear them cross body, but every time I used one I payed the price for days after. I switched to a backpack so that the weight on my back would distribute evenly. It’s better, but not an answer to the problem. Either way, I get crazy compliments on this one whenever I wear it.  I linked you below.

Cool Summer

I walked outside this morning and laughed real evil like. You see, I lived in Florida for eighteen years of my life. Eighteen sweaty, frizzy haired, clammy skinned years. And today, on this twenty sixth day of May I walked outside and it was fifty nine degrees outside. In Florida it was ninety! Brrrr. This cold, wintery state is the beat of my heart. So while I am still wearing dusters and boots in May, many of you are chilling out at the pool and beach in your bikinis. Cheers! To each his own. So, if you’re in need of a duster, a tank, a cool ass bra to wear underneath a tank, or a pair boyfriend skinnies clickety clack below.
